Una vecchia tapparella veneziana recuperata da un ospedale oramai dismesso. È stata il diaframma tra una stanza, un mondo di sofferenza, e il mondo esterno, lontano da quel dolore. Ho immaginato che dall’esterno si potesse scorgere un letto, il classico letto di un ospedale, inconfondibile, e che questo potesse essersi ‘impressionato’ sulla tapparella stessa, come su una lastra fotografica.

IMPRESSION
An old Venetian blind recovered from a now disused hospital. It was a diaphragm between a room, a world of suffering, and the outside world, far away from that sorrow. I figured that from the outside you could see a bed, a classic hospital bed, unmistakable, and that this could have been ‘exposed’ on the blind itself, in the same way an image is exposed on a photographic plate.
